london.ac.uk/llm 9 “The best part of my experience was what I studied. For instance, I did financial services laws and studied financial crime which was useful in my work as a financial compliance officer. I found it really rewarding that I could apply what I was learning in my work. I made friends all over the world, but organising times to study together was tough. This was a challenge, but it was probably also what gave me the most support.”

16 Postgraduate programmes in Laws Elton Marchiolli Marques Brazil ‘My experience was fantastic. Having the flexibility to continue my studies in three different countries was key for me and I’m very proud and happy to have managed all the way through. The challenge is finding your own pace as you are on your own, of course you have support electronically and remotely but you have to find out what is the best way for you to get prepared for the exams. It was challenging for me in the beginning, but after some dedication I got traction and then managed well. I’m a dedicated husband with two kids, having the flexibility was the key thing for me. Never give up because it is rewarding.’
