Unity and diversity within : There is a great deal of diversity in the etymology (origin of words/names), theology (attributes of ), and emphasis (stress on some doctrines or practices) within monotheism (belief in the existence of only ONE god whose generic name is /*) as represented by the three monotheistic religions of: "Islam" (an Arabic word for total/complete devotion/submission/surrender to God alone or ‘Unity God’ as the creator and ruler of the universe [see Quran 3:19, 3:85, 10:72, 2:128, 10:72; 2:133; 12:101, 10:84, 3:52]); "Christianity" (the word etymology is derived from 'Christ’ [a translation of a Greek adjective meaning ‘anointed’ and often ‘anointed one’] which refers [hundreds of times in the Christian Bible] to Jesus [see Matthew 1:1, Acts 11:26, 26:28; 1 Peter 1:1, 4:16] as the Son of God and the second person of the Holy Trinity or ‘Trinity God’: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; "Judaism" (the word etymology is believed to be derived from the name of the tribe and/or territory or kingdom of 'Judah' [see Genesis 29:35, 37:26-27] from which the word Jews is also derived---i.e., Judaism is the religion of the Jews). The name Allah/EL [Arabic , EmanuEL, SamuEL, etc. It still lives in the last few Aramaic words attributed to Jesus in his native language while on the cross: “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”) [Matthew 27:46; see also Psalm 22:1, in Jewish Bible 22:2] Compare John 3:16, John 19:16-22 & Matthew 27:46,50 with Quran 112:1-4 and Quran 4:156-158 “For God so loved the world that gave his one “Say, He is God the One, God the eternal. and only Son, that whoever believes in him He fathered no one nor was He shall not perish but have eternal life.” John fathered. There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle. Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, ‘Do not write THE KING OF THE JEWS, but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews. Pilate answered, ‘What I have written, I have written.’” John 19:16-22 “About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ‘Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?’ (which means ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’)…. And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.” Matthew 27:46,50 “And because they disbelieved and uttered a terrible slander against Mary, and said, ‘We have killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of God.’ (They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, though it was made to appear like that to them; those that disagreed about him are full of doubt, with no knowledge to follow, only supposition: they certainly did not kill him---No! God raised him up to Himself. God is almighty and wise. There is not one of the People of the Book who will not believe in [Jesus] before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them.)” Quran 4:156-158 The Christians believe in Jesus as Son of God, the Muslims believe in Jesus [Essa] as a prophet of God, and the Jews do not believe in Jesus as Son of God or prophet of God
