2:19 A Call to Battle

“And the dread of Me is not in you” – God God is speaking through the Jeremiah to His people addressing their love for the worldly pleasures of the wicked godless nations that surround them. In verse 27 he says, “For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face; but in time of their trouble they say, ‘Arise and save us.” God’s love for us means that He works on us in order to turn us back from breaking His commandments that we might walk uprightly before Him. He is constantly sending calamity upon our nation as He was here in Jeremiah’s time, but the fear of God is not in our land and we resist His chastisement. Will we regain the fear of God in our land? Or are we going to wait until He completes His word which is to destroy the nation that refuses to be corrected by Him? When a nation refuses His correction it is because they are hardened in their sin and will not be dissuaded from it. says in 2 23:6-7, “But the worthless, everyone of them will be thrust away like thorns, because they cannot be taken in hand; but the man who touches them must be armed with iron and the shaft of a spear, and they will be completely burned with fire in their place.” Our land is incredibly stubborn against obedience to the commandments of God so there are two options left to us, either, a great repenting and revival as a nation must take place, or else the complete destruction of it. God punishes wickedness not only because His law requires it but because He will grant justice to all who have sought to keep His laws in spite of the persecution from their fellow man for doing so. He will uphold His laws and keep all men accountable for their actions. He will uphold His laws and defend His people who love and obey Him. Our Heavenly Father seeks out the righteous and says, “Will you lay your lives down for your country?” We need an army of prayer warriors who have been separated unto God, vowing to walk in His commandments and to put aside all compromise with the world. Will you join the Fellowship of the Unashamed? Will you join us in a separation from compromise with the world that we might humble ourselves before God and become His mouthpieces here on earth? We seek revival for our land rather than its destruction. Will you join us? The trumpet has sounded and God’s people need to break from the camp and come join the battle as committed soldiers for the Lord. Are you willing to consecrate your life to God and heed His call? We are out of time for dragging our feet in the distractions and a false security. Rome fell the same way. Our land is falling fast and God’s laws will be upheld by Him unless we repent and cry out for His loving kindness to come upon us. We need sin hardened hearts to melt or else the sword will devour our land. This is a wake-up call. We must separate ourselves from those who will be destroyed in God’s wrath. The naive will not escape the fire.

Come out and serve the Lord!
