The Secretary of the Army may establish or develop mill- ^'^^• tary installations and facilities by acquiring, constructing, converting, rehabilitating, or installing permanent or temporary public works, including site preparations, appurtenances, utilities, and equipment for the following projects: INSIDE THE UNITED STATES UNITED STATES CONTINENTAL ARMY COMMAND (First Army) Fort Devens, Massachusetts: Troop housing, $7,117,000. Fort Dix, New Jersey: Training facilities, $1,914,000. Fort Eustis, Virginia: Training facilities, maintenance facilities, and troop housing, $957,000. Fort Knox, Kentucky: Training facilities, $2,470,000. United States Military Academy, West Point, New York: Training facilities, storage facilities, and utilities, $2,451,000. (Third Army) Armed Forces Examining Entrance Station, Montgomery, Ala bama : Administrative facilities, $235,000. Fort Campbell, Kentucky: Operational facilities, $355,000. Establishment SEC. 102. The Secretary of the Army may establish or develop classi of classified in- fied military installations and facilities by acquiring, constructing, staiiatTons! converting, rehabilitating, or installing permanent or temporary pub lic works, including land acquisition, site preparation, appurtenances, utilities, and equipment in the total amount of $33,000,000. SEC. 103. The Secretary of the Army may establish or develop Army Con struction installations and facilities by proceeding with construction made neces- requi^CT^eni's.for unforeseen' sary by changes in Army missions and responsibilities which have been occasioned by: (a) unforseen security considerations, (b) new weapons developments, (c) new and unforseen research and development re quirements, or (d) improved production schedules, if the Secretary of Defense determines that deferral of such construction for inclusion in the next military construction authorization Act would be incon sistent with interests of national security, and in connection therewith to acquire, construct, convert, rehabilitate, or install permanent or tem porary public works, including land acquisition, site preparation, ap purtenances, utilities, and equipment, in the total amount of $10,- 000,000: Provided, That the Secretary of the Army, or his designee, co^i^n?e*i°" °^ shall notify the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and House of Representatives, immediately upon reaching a final decision to implement, of the cost of construction of any public work under taken under this section, including those real estate actions pertaining thereto. This authorization will expire as of September 30, 1967, ex cept for those public works projects concerning which the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and House of Representatives have been notified pursuant to this section prior to that date. SEC. 104. (a) Public Law 85-241, as amended, is amended under the heading "INSIDE THE UNITED STATES" in section 101, as follows: ^^ ^*^*- ^^i- (1) Under the subheading "TECHNICAL SERVICES FACILITIES (Ordnance Corps)", with respect to "Anniston Ordnance Depot, Alabama", strike out "$2,015,000" and insert in place thereof "$2,881,000". (b) Public Law 85-241, as amended, is amended by striking out in clause (1) of section 502, the amounts "$119,330,000" and "$296,809,- ^4 stat. i7o. 000" and inserting in place thereof "$120,196,000" and "$297,675,000", respectively. SEC. 105. (a) Public Law 87-554, as amendedj is amended under the heading "INSIDE THE UNITED STATES" in section 101, as follows: ^^ ^tat. 224.
