Dear Parishioners of Saint John,   I want to use this space today to update you on some parish matters and to let you know of some events coming up in June.  As I announced a few weeks ago, masks are no long required inside the church for those who are fully vaccinated. Everyone, however, is still welcome to wear a mask, and the will continue to wear masks for the distribution of Holy Communion. Also, there is no longer any need for social distancing during Mass. Every pew is open for seating, except for some pews on the front left side of the church, where social distancing is available.   Anyone who is new to our area, a returnee, I am happy to report that we will have a full rectory this summer! or is looking for a spiritual home, Saint John Father Brendan Blawie, who was ordained a this past January Catholic Church warmly welcomes you. and who is completing his Licentiate studies in Rome, will be assigned to Saint John’s from July 1st through August 31st. We are looking forward to having him with us, and I know you will 5th Sunday Rosary  appreciate Father Blawie, who is a talented, prayerful and  Dedicated for the Cause of Life  hardworking priest. Along with Father Blawie, we will host  Maximilian Lock, a secondyear seminarian of our diocese, who is St. John’s Chapter of the Knights of Columbus will studying at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia. He be hosting a 5th Sunday Rosary which will be held will be with us from June 7th through August 15th. It will be great to this Sunday, May 30, 2021 between the 8:00 and have him here, and I know he will be inspired and encouraged by all 10:00AM Masses.
