Last Time Out TEAM COMPARISON • The Alabama women’s soccer team (1-4-2) fell last Friday night to No. 8 Texas A&M by a fi nal score of 2-0 at the Alabama Soccer Stadium. • The Aggies (5-1-0) got off to a hot start scoring in the opening minute, leaving CRIMSON TIDE the Crimson Tide to chase the game the remaining 89. Texas A&M registered a 2020 Record 1-4-2 corner kick within seconds, where Jimena Lopez redirected it onto the boot of 2020 SEC Record 1-4-2 Taylor Pounds for the fi rst goal of the match. Goals Leader Mattingly/Pham/Wyatt (2) • Coming out of the half, Alabama was the more assertive side and held the Assists Leader Clem/Knox/Reyes/Wertz (1) majority of possession during the opening 15 minutes of play, spending most of Points Leader Mattingly/Pham/Wyatt (4) its time in Texas A&M’s defensive third. • In the 62nd, Riley Mattingly took a look from the top of the box nearly fi nding the NCAA Appearances 3 corner, she fi nished with two shots on the night.
