Theatre Development Fund presents Two Audio Described Performances of : THE MUSICAL for Elementary, Middle and High School students who are Blind or have Low Vision

This new musical, based on the children's book by and hit movie, tells the story of a kind, swamp-dwelling green who saves the land from a malevolent lord and rescues a princess in distress. The cast stars Brian d'Arcy James (Sweet Smell of Success) as Shrek, (Thoroughly Modern Millie) as , () as , (Passing Strange) as , and () as . Jason Moore directs, with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, music by and chore- ography by Josh Prince.

TDF/TAP is proud to offer preperational workshops for students. Teaching artist/audio describer, Andrea Day, will come to your school to prepare your students for their trip to the Broadway smash hit Shrek: The Musical. She will teach plots, characters as well other important aspects of the show they might otherwise miss. Games and other exercises will be included to ensure your students have a complete understanding of the show.

Workshops are 45 minutes long or 1 class period. 12 students minimum. Workshops not reccommended for more than 25 students Larger groups can be split into 2 or more workshops Please do not schedule your workshop during lunch!
