Attachment C GOVERNOR ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER

October 30, 2007

Mr. Arnie Kleiner General Manager KABC-TV 500 Circle Seven Drive Glendale, California 91201

Dear Mr. Kleiner,

On behalf of this great state's elected leaders, firefighters, law enforcement professionals, charitable organizations and hundreds of thousands of our fellow Californians, Maria and I offer our gratitude and admiration. Thank you to you, KABC and the Walt Disney Company for the role you played in helping us through this month's devastating wildfires.

We can say with absolute certainty that, as difficult and heartbreaking as the past several days have been, they would have been even more so without your generosity. KABC's hugely valuable reporting and related information meant the world to evacuees who, in many cases, had little left but questions. It's difficult to overestimate what solid, real time information and a safe place to sleep and food to eat and help rebuilding their lives can mean to people who have lost nearly all else.

Clearly, there is still much work to be done as the people of Southern California begin to pick up the pieces. Truthfully, we have no doubt that we can do it - especially with the suppOli and encouragement we've received from across the nation. KABC and the Walt Disney Company overall have proven themselves leaders and friends to the people of California. Thank you again.

With warm regards,

Arnold Schwarzenegger
