Article 1: This issue affects the well-being of the people living within the region because; knowing that something like this situation is going on is cruel has to stop. This woman was pregnant and already married but stoned because dishonored her family but not accepting an arranged marriage when she already had her own little family growing. But the thing is it isn’t only this women but many other woman have died, the article also states that there is an estimate of 5,000 women murdered worldwide each year in “honor killings”. The Pakistani Prime Minister Nawz Sharif has requested that Punjab’s chief minister, submit a report on the incident. A human rights activist based in Islamabad, said in many cases people outside the family don’t step in to protect the victim “because it’s a private matter.” and also stated that under an Islamic element of Pakistan law, known as the law of Diyat, the family of the victim is allowed to forgive the perpetrator.

Article 2: This issue fears Iranians that the fertility campaign could undermine the position of women in a country where sixty percent of university students are female but only 12.4 percent of the work force is. There are also fears about sexual health. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Iran’s supreme leader said “Given the importance of population size in sovereign might and economic progress … firm, quick and efficient steps must be taken to offset the steep fall in birth rate of recent years.”

Article 3: It encourages others to be brave and have courage to fight for what they think is right. A close friend/neighbor commented that “He was interrogated and investigated countless times and taken to court repeatedly. He was harassed by the police and received many threatening phone calls. He was continually pressured at work and eventually was sentenced to jail. He was always ready to go to prison.” It has a global impact because it encourages people to support them and also fight for what’s right and more people involved the easier it will get done.
