Community Development Department: #12. Award contract to J.A. Kilby Enterprises, Inc., N. Ridgeville in amount of $8,690 that includes a contingency for any unforeseen change orders for grant assistance to Garnett & Kester Samples, 35184 Elm Rd., Grafton for roof replacement. 12 invitations to be were sent, 3 received, this being the most responsive complying with specifications and will be paid from Acct#Chip home repair
EMA/Homeland Security #13. Award contract to Health & Safety Services, Ashland, KY to provide tactical body armor in amount of $62,370. 4 bids were received on August 2, this being the most responsive and will be paid 100% by federal homeland security grant, Acct#equipment Golden Acres: #14. Increase the room rates at Lorain County Golden Acres Nursing Home to $176 for semi private and $178 for private, effective October 1, 2012. This reflects an increase of $3 Page 1 of 2 Board agenda cont. 08/29/12 Job & Family Services: #15. Return TANF summer youth employment program funds allocated by ODJFS for SFY12 & SFY13. County received $648,160.07 and will return $260,064.42 so another county has the opportunity to use the funds for TANF summer youth program.

Approve 33 refurbished computers to Our F.A.M.I.L.Y, Elyria to provide computer literacy training and experience in completing research projects to school children B Mr. James R.
