Art Room Rules

  1. Be on Time and Ready to Go! Attitude and

Effort are very important to your success. Be Positive!

  1. Neat and Clean Work is a Must! No Smudges, Rips, Sloppy Areas of any kind!
  1. Creativity Counts…. Go Above and Beyond the Ordinary! Be Open to New Ideas and Concepts! Get out of your comfort zone!
  1. Respect Art Room Materials….
  2. You break it you, you buy it! Materials expensive so treat them well!
  1. You are here to work and learn so do it! Talking is a privilege not a right! Abuse it and you will lose it. You can talk and work at the same time!
  1. You are responsible to know your grades. Record them when you get them and check on line regularly….Grade Questions ask Mr. Allen.
  1. Do not leave the room without permission for any reason…let Mr. Allen know!
  1. Do what is asked when asked and how asked. No talking back! Conflicts resolved after class or school. If you have problems talk to Mr. Allen.

Problems you don’t feel can be resolved have your parents email me or call me at school.

  1. All assignments are due when they are due…No if’s ands or buts’ about it!

If not 100% complete they are considered unfinished and you will receive a zero for that assignment! Work will be completed to Mr. Allen’s Standards. Understand art is trial and error and be open to instruction relating to your work. Ways for you to be successful in art…..

a)Work in class on a daily basis. b)If you are behind on your work take things home with you.

c) Know your due dates d)Find out how you are doing regularly! Ask Questions!

  1. Cleaning Duties/ Jobs are part of your grade so make sure you know what your duty is and do it fully.Take them seriously as they are important.
  1. No Phone Usage In Class…..Period! Do not use your phones for any reason! Not Out, Seen or Used
  1. Leave your problems and negativity at the door…if you think you can’t do something you won’t be able to do it. You must believe and be willing to make mistakes! Believe and Achieve!!!!
