What Type of Data Is Included in a Faculty Profile?

Updating profile data

The source data that is displayed in Faculty Profiles currently comes from the eCV application. Within the eCV system you have the capability to edit and proof the data that is displayed in the Faculty Profile system.

What type of data is included in a Faculty profile?

  • Data from the following eCV data entry categories is included in the faculty profile. Click on the specific category for more detail
  • Note that data changes made in eCV will be reflected in Faculty Profiles the following day.

What can I do to improve my faculty profile?

  • Review the data in the following categories to ensure it is up to date and accurate. Navigate to these categories under the Menu option Edit CV Data
  • BiographicalData
  • Employment History
  • Degrees/Education
  • Expertise
  • TeachingActivities
  • Publications
  • Research Grants

  • Populate the self description field in eCV-Biographical Data. If this is populated it will be shown at the top of the profile and can serve as a summary of your current interests.

  • Populate the expertise fields in eCV-Expertise. If this is populated it will be shown in the expertise tab of faculty profiles.
