CAPE PENINSULA TOUR

Your tour starts with a scenic drive over Chapman’s Peak to False Bay. From there travel to Simon’s Town where you can meet the African Penguins. Continue to Cape Point where you visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and walk to the Southern tip of the Cape Peninsula. Return along the False Bay coast across Old Cape Road back to your Guest House

WINELANDS TOUR

You do not have to be a wine lover to enjoy this extraordinary nature tour. Visit to the winelands of Stellenbosch and Paarl, including wine tasting. Stop over at Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, stroll through the streets with its old Cape Dutch architecture. Along the way you might see some animals like Gnu, Zebra and Ostrich. The Cheetah Project at Spier Wine Estate is another optional possibility. A visit to Butterfly World can also be included for children.

RELAX AT GARDEN CENTRE AND PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN

Spend a relaxing day with the children at this fantastic children’s “kingdom”. Lots of fun, games and rides for all. Stroll through the gardens and plants and enjoy a meal at the outside restaurant. A must for parents and children of all ages. On weekends pony rides and trips on a tractor are available.

VISIT TO DUIKER (SEAL) ISLAND HOUT BAY and KIRSTENBOSCH BOTANICAL GARDENS

Drive along the Atlantic Ocean towards Hout Bay. Take a Boat ride and see the Cape Fur Seals in their natural surroundings. Afterwards visit the Botanical Gardens where you can stroll around and relax at the foot of the mountain. Pack a basket with lunch and drinks, take it along and relax on the large grass/lawns or enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants in the gardens.

EXPLORE THE MOTHER CITY CAPE TOWN

This tour enables you to get to know Cape Town by seeing the important historical buildings. Step out and stroll through the Company Gardens where the first vegetables & fruit were planted to provide ships of the 1600’s with fresh produce. Pay a visit to the St George’s Cathedral, where previously Archbishop Desmond Tutu, for the first time addressed the people of South Africa as the Rainbow Nation. Visit Greenmarket Square and experience a true African Market before returning to your guest house. TABLE MOUNTAIN AND WATERFRONT

Visit to Table Mountain. Trip up Table Mountain depends on the weather. The Rotair (Cable Car) is not included in the quoted price. Present price for the Cable Car is R160 per adult. Afterwards visit the Waterfront and stroll around and get into the feel of the vibe of the Rainbow Nation and people of Cape Town.

MEDITERRANEAN ESCAPE

Enjoy the best the West can offer. Scenic drive through Durbanville Wine lands. Relax at the beach with a backdrop of Table Mountain. Walk along the white sand beaches as far as the eye can see. Let the children play on the sand and swim in the safety of the sea. Stroll through the unique little shops with its Mediterranean atmosphere. Enjoy lunch at any of the large selection of restaurants, all with a view of the “Flat Mountain”.

HERMANUS : WHALE CAPITOL OF SOUTH AFRICA

False Bay Coastal tour to Hermanus, the Whale Capitol of SA. During July to November the whales come here to mate and calf and you might see many of them en route and at Hermanus. The tour explores the eastern coast of Cape Town and stop at various small towns where you can enjoy the hospitality of the rural area.

OTHER POSSIBLE TOURS/ VISITS

 Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned (Advance booking essential). Not advisable for babies. (This tour can be done before receiving your baby).

 Spend a day on the beach on the False Bay coast at The Strand or Gordon’s Bay. Enjoy the African sun and swim or body surf in the waves. Spend the whole day on the beach and return to your guest house for a well deserved rest at the end of the day.
