Addendum No. 1
To the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) DRR10009
1. The following questions were submitted in response to the RFQ and answers to each follow the question.
Q1. Please provide the CalRecycle’s Unreliable List.
A1. There are currently no contractor's listed on CalRecycle's Unreliable List.
Q2. Can you please provide who the current firm is that holds the contract?
A2. Pacific States Environmental Contractors, Inc.
Q3. For the Project Experience forms, there isn't any room for a project narrative or photos, may we either attach a full project description or expand the form to include room for additional detail?
A3. You may attach information to provide additional detail.
Q4. Under Award of Agreement section, it states “If the firm is the highest-ranking firm for this solicitation (DRR10008) and for the Southern California Region solicitation (DRR10009), the award will be based on the firm’s regional preference.” If the highest ranking firm is able to provide sufficient resources to CalRecycle to support both regions, why would the firm not be allowed to hold both contracts?
A4. CalRecycle would like to maintain two remediation contracts to provide better geographic coverage of the state, provide contracting flexibility in the instance that one contractor cannot manage the entire workload in his area, and to provide better emergency response, if needed.
Q5. Pursuant to the Federal Freedom of Information Act, 5 USC § 552, I respectfully request copies of or recent contract pricing and identification of incumbent vendor(s) relative to the referenced RFQ’s above. I believe the existing contract numbers are #IWM07036 and #IWM070037.
A5. We have redacted the following confidential business information pursuant to Government Code sections 6254(i), and Title 14, California Code of Regulations, sections 17041 et seq.: Federal tax identification number. We have redacted the following personal and personnel information pursuant to Government Code 6254 (c) and Title 14, California Code of Regulations, sections 17041 et seq.: Staff names when tied to rate of pay and signatures, when not officials’ signatures.

2. Attachment 1 to this Addendum contains a list of all businesses who have registered their interest in this contract to date.
All other terms, conditions, and requirements of this RFQ will remain the same.
