Bonjour and thank you so much for your interest in having me create a beautiful Exclusive Contemporary Artistic PORTRAIT of you, for you and with you… or to create GREAT PHOTOGRAPHS of anything or anyone that you would like for your PERSONAL life and memories… or that you might need for your BUSINESS or PROFESSIONAL life.
A GREAT and EXCLUSIVE PORTRAIT or PHOTOGRAPH, to own and to have for very many PERSONAL and/or BUSINESS use (as well as COMMEMORATIVE / MEMORABILIA use) and as well as to simply, yet most importantly, capture … YOU (or anything or anyone dear to your world and heart…) and where you are today in your own life’s journey… is indeed something so very important!. All my clients who have commissioned me to do so usually comment to the spirit of “ Why didn’t I do that 5 or 10 years ago as well!?... “ fully realizing the many great emotional, personal, business as well as soulful and meaningful very many values of doing so…
A great PORTRAIT / PHOTO of you that you will be able to use endlessly for any and all of your favorite SOCIAL websites (Facebook™, LinkedIn™, dating websites, and all and any other “social media” websites…), as well as in your emails, for your personal and family photo albums and memorabilia, as well as in various personal and print use.
In addition to the great joy, pride and personal satisfaction (as well as for the pleasure of all those around you who will view and cherish your portrait(s) as well) of creating a great portrait of you, the fact that we do live in a such a tremendously “VISUAL” world today will offer to you endless use and benefits while also bringing much joy (and business) back to you… The way that we present and portray ourselves to others does indeed have a major direct influence and great benefits on every aspect of our social and professional lives…
A great photo that captures who we truly are is also, aside from video captures, pretty much the only way to somehow, as I like to often remind my clients of that reality, literally “ freeze time… ”, capturing not only our physical appearance in a very flattering way (as I will of course apply myself to do for you J ), but also and most importantly, to capture and immortalize our soul, spirit and heart, becoming a landmark of wherever it is that we have, to this day, evolved in our own life’s journey…
The famous saying that “The eyes are the window to our soul… ” is so very true and if you only browse through a few of the thousands of portraits that I have created, you will notice how the eyes of the viewer are immediately in deep contact with those of the subject featured… which is exactly what I will create for you… (even in the portraits where, for various artistic and creative reasons, I chose to have my subject look away and not directly at the camera, the viewer is still emotionally drawn to the soul and spirit of the subject featured… just as it should be, in order to bring out the deep humanness of who we are, offering to the camera and to the viewer a most beautiful mix and remembering of our greatest joys and personal evolving..
Should you choose to commission me, it will be my greatest joy and honor to create such a portrait for you and of you (or your loved ones), one which, like for all of my clients, you will be proud of and so happy to offer to the eyes of many… whether or personal use and enjoyment, or for professional and marketing use.

Let me now tell you, if I may, a few words about the overall context in which I work…
Most photographers charge what they call a “sitting fee” (which is usually $200 to $500+) and they then charge you very high prices for every single print that you might want, making you in the process totally dependent on such fees and prices, whether at the time of your shoot, or at any time in the future whenever you might want to order more prints (and that is of course assuming that they will not have ran out of business in the meantime as too many do, making your photos forever gone and lost…) … but that is not how I choose to work…
I have instead chosen to charge for my time and expertise to do the actual shoot as well as to work on the retouching and post production of your photos and after doing so, I will give you an electronic digital copy (without any watermarks!) of your selected photos, therefore allowing you that way to truly OWN and have total CONTROL over your usage of your portrait … being truly free to use them for your personal use, post them and print them as you wish, as often as you wish and for as long as you will want to do so, for the years and decades to come…
I have always considered that your image should indeed be… YOURS!... and no one else’s … and that is precisely the working context that I choose to offer to all my clients…

• My FEES for ACTUAL PHOTO SHOOT + POST PRODUCTION/RETOUCHING …
My fees to create an ARTISTIC CONTEMPORARY PORTRAIT of you, for PERSONAL USE or BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL USE (whether you will also use your portrait for specific business use, for a book cover, for a commercial/business website, for your business, for advertisements of your business products or services etc.) are as follows…
For a PHOTO SHOOT at the LOCATION OF YOUR CHOICE within the Raleigh-Durham-Cary-Chapel Hill area, my fees are:

( please know that North Carolina Sales Tax will be added to all fees from that schedule – that Sales Tax will then be paid back by us to the North Carolina Department of Revenue, as required by law).
I will come to you and do the shoot at any location of your choosing whether it will be your home, your office, a friend’s home or any other location of your choosing private or public … or I can also pick a location for us should you prefer that?... (for a photo shoot outside of the RDU area, whether out of state, or out of the country, please contact me and I will be more than happy to quote you the additional fees and travelling/lodging expenses involved).
My fees will include YOUR ACTUAL PHOTO SHOOT as well also as the retouching/post production/editing/air brushing (which I will personally do).
• Your actual PHOTO SHOOT …
It will usually take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours to complete the actual photo shoot.
During that time I will shoot anywhere from 200 to 500+ photos of you.
In the days following the shoot, I will then personally (or let you do so if you would like to participate in that process) select the very best PORTRAIT(s)/PHOTO(s) (depending on whether you commissioned me to create a single PORTRAIT for you, or several) and these are the ones which I will touch up and personally work on in post production, before delivering them to you, all ready for you to use or print as you will wish to do so…
Note 1: should you wish to have someone accompany you on your photo shoot (of course only someone who you will be comfortable with and who will understand that you and I(and my assistant if needed) are going to be exclusively and totally focused on YOUR SHOOT J), please know that you are more than welcome to… your significant other, partner, husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend, sibling, child, parent best friend, friend etc… anyone who will be excited and interested by that unique experience and who you would be excited and happy to share it with… And… if you do… I will most probably … make them “work” some J and help us… with their consent and yours of course J Whether to hold a light reflector to bring that perfect spark in your eyes… or holding a lighting strobe to bring a perfect lighting to your entire body… or hold a video camera to create a “behind the scenes” fantastic memory of your whole shoot… or even giving him/her a camera to shoot some “behind the scenes” photos… I will definitely use their help J … so… by all means feel free to bring someone (or a couple of person) to your photo shoot!
Note 2: Should you want to play some MUSIC during your photo shoot (from a CD, IPod® or your cell phone) and as it will get you in a more enjoyable and relaxed spirit please by all means feel free to do so… you can bring your own music player and/or boom box … or you can ask me to bring one and simply bring your IPod®)… In more generic terms, anything and everything that you would want for your photo shoot or that will help you in your modeling (if this is a Modeling Photo Shoot), is of course totally ok with me J
• OUTFIT choices…
I will discuss with you on the phone prior to the shoot what could be good choices of outfits depending on how you would like to be portrayed and the spirit of your portrait. Ideally you will bring several outfits as well as several choices of shoes and accessorizing/jewelry to the shoot so that we can pick together if needed. Or if you already have your mind set on a particular outfit that you love for any personal reasons, and that you love wearing and being photographed in then … that will be our final choice and a great choice for your photo shoot.
Note: should you want to feature a couple of different outfits during your shoot, you are more than welcome to do that and change in the privacy of my car (large SUV with tinted windows for that very use). Should you choose to do so, we will just dedicate proportionally less time to each outfit in order to stay within the time allocated to your photo shoot.
• LOCATION for your PHOTO SHOOT …
We will discuss options about that on the phone and prior to booking your photo shoot. If you have any location which you particularly like for personal reasons (your home, a friend’s or family member’s home, a public place, an outdoor place etc…), I will be more than happy to do your photo shoot right there (as long of course as we can get the legal authorization to do so) … and if you would prefer for me to pick a place for your shoot, I will also be more than happy to do that for you.
90% of my photo shoots are done on location but I can also, if needed, and if your preference, recreate a full blown PHOTO STUDIO in just about any location … including anywhere outdoors thanks to all my extensive portable power supplies and equipment. If you prefer the “studio” feel I can also create a more “professional” conservative look for your portraits with grey, black, white and gradient or muslins background as needed.
Note: once you will have decided to commission me, I will ask you to please, if you can, email me (at ) copies of various photos that you might find on line and which appeal to you… photos which you will overall “like” and relate to… discovering what you like will allow me to build a good sense of what is indeed appealing to you and of what you emotionally connect to… thank you for that additional help if you do have the time to do so… (this is not a requirement at all but just a valuable extra source of information for me if you happen to have the time to do so).

• COPYRIGHTS / YOUR RIGHTS TO USE the FINAL PORTRAITS …
The standard in our industry of professional photographers is that the photographer always keeps the full Copyrights to the photos that he/she creates (except in the case where the clients would want to purchase such rights and which is always part of a separate agreement - please contact me if you do for a quote on that option) but the MODEL RELEASE which I will need to have you fill out, sign and mail us at the time of your booking (along with your deposit to reserve your photo shoot date and time – please go to the following link to print it:
