ORDER
(Date of Hearing 08.02.2017)
1. The petitioner, M/s Accord Hydroair (SWM) BBK (P) Ltd., has RDF based 2.5 MW plant at village Hasanpurn Banwa in Distt: Barabanki under the Solid Waste Management scheme of Swachh Bharat Mission.
2. The petitioner approached UPPCL in December 2015 to enter into PPA for this plant. The plant was expected to be commission by January15, 2016.
3. The petitioner submitted that the 33KV bay provided to it for termination of evacuation line is almost 20 km away from its site. The cost of constructing such a long transmission line is prohibitive and making project unviable.
4. Under clause 36 of CRE Regulations, 2014, the evacuation from above plant should take place at 33 KV. However, the petitioner has sought relaxation in this provision and prayed for allowing him to evacuate power at 11KV.
5. The Commission directed MVVNL to check feasibility of transmission system so that project could be viable. MVVNL is directed to make its submission within a month.
6. The hearing is adjourned with next date of hearing fixed on 21.03.2017.
