The Nursing Undergraduate Student Service Award
CriteriaThe student nurse supports the ideals of the College of Nursing and the nursing profession by engaging in service activities that support individuals, families, and/or communities and that encourage and foster the nurse’s personal and professional development. Any Penn State College of Nursing student, faculty, or alumni may make nominations.
EligibilityTo be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a graduating senior (graduating May, August, or December of the calendar year in which the award is presented)
- Have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5 or higher
SelectionNominations will be reviewed by each board member with each board member scoring each individual nomination for evidence of the award criteria – the highest scoring nomination will receive the award; decisions regarding scoring ties will be made by the Board.
DeadlineNominations must be submitted by March 3, 2017 to:

This award will be presented during the College of Nursing Scholarship and Awards Luncheon on April 8, 2017
