Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two Children

Support for children at these national curriculum stages is commissioned via Primary Consortia. https://search3.openobjects.com/mediamanager/liverpool/fsd/files/primary_consortia.doc

Each consortium receives an allocation of time based on school census data for outreach support from special schools that cater for pupils with ASD, BESD and CLD. This time supports children at Key Stage One and Key Stage Two on school SEN registers. Consortia also receive an allocation of time from SENISS to support children in maintained nursery schools and reception classes on SEN registers. Providers share a varied menu of support with consortia which includes training opportunities and pupil led support. Consortia meet to review progress of provision plans and providers share outcomes for children at consortia to ensure that the best possible use is made of time allocations.
