1.4   SUBMITTALS

1.4.2.2   Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.

1.4.3   Verification Samples:

1.4.3.1   For each finish product specified, two samples of each type of valve, actuator and accessory.

1.4.3.2   Identify each sample by label indicating applicable specification paragraph number, brand name and model number.

1.4.3.3   After approval, samples will be returned for incorporation into work.

1.4.4   Manufacturer's Certificates: Certify products meet or exceed specified requirements.

1.4.5   Closeout Submittals:

1.4.5.2   Operation and Maintenance Data: Operation and maintenance data for installed products. Include methods for maintaining installed products and precautions against cleaning materials and methods detrimental to finishes and performance.

1.5   QUALITY ASSURANCE

1.5.1   Manufacturer Qualifications: Company specializing in manufacturing products specified in this section with minimum ten years documented experience and ISO9001 Certified.

1.5.2   Installer Qualifications: Installer experienced in performing work of this section who has specialized in installation of work similar to that required for this project.

1.6   DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

1.6.1   Deliver products in manufacturer's unopened packaging, store and handle in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions.

1.7   SEQUENCING

1.7.1   Ensure that locating templates and other information required for installation of products of this section are furnished to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.

1.7.2   Ensure that products of this section are supplied to affected trades in time to prevent interruption of construction progress.

1.8   PROJECT CONDITIONS

1.8.1   Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.

1.9   WARRANTY

1.9.1   Manufacturer's Warranty: Submit, for Owner's acceptance, manufacturer's standard warranty document executed by authorized company official.

2.2.4   Butterfly Valves (2 inches - 12 inches (51 - 305 mm): All thermoplastic, wafer-style butterfly with integral top mounting flange with dimensions and bolt circles conforming to ISO 5211. One piece body construction with fully-supported flange bolt holes and meets ANSI B16.10 narrow face-to-face dimensions in all sizes. Liner is a FULL BOOT design, retained in the body via rib and groove engagement. Liner serves as primary disc seal and face seals for mating flanges. Secondary upper bearing and lower seal retainer O-ring seals to be EPDM or FPM. Stem is 316 stainless steel, non-wetted with full engagement over length of disc. Stem has a position retention design. All sizes pressure rated to 150 PSI at 70 degrees non-shock. Valve material, size, pressure rating and bolt pattern are molded into valve body.

2.2.4.2.1   Lever Handle: GFPP material with UV Inhibitor. Trigger-style with 360 degree interlocking (72) splines allowing the handle to position the disc in 5 degree increments. Handle assembly is included with a weather seal. Mounting of stop plate for lever handle is non-invasive to the valve body and does not incorporate self tapping screws or other fasteners that connect directly to the valve body. Trigger contains a hole for padlock, as well as slot for cable tie, to lockout valve. Valve Top Plate includes gradient markings for percent of open and percent of Cv.
