Hello Clann Wolf family…

Hope everyone is doing well. We had another Alafia come and go and the weather was the best I have seen for the event. Had a couple of chilly nights at the beginning but basically warm enough we did not have too many fires at night. The parade of Tartans, and the Highland Games went very well and for once it did not feel like Scottish weather. Tuesday night was the Clann Wolf dinner, and this year Jeff Bills passed the feather to the new Florida Sept Chief Cinnamon Bair. Congrats Cinnamon, you are going to do a great job. Jeff you did a fantastic job as Sept Chief!!! After the dinner came the ceilidh and I was able to sit in and play a few tunes (and tell a few jokes). I had a great time and think it might be the best ceilidh we’ve had. Thanks again to Donand Barbara Boger for hosting the ceilidh again this year!!! Huzzah to the Florida Sept, another great Alafia.

Next order of business is Clann dues. I mailed out renewal forms in December. Please fill this form out and get it back to Larry Clark, the Clann Steward/Treasurer. I had a few get returned to me that could not be delivered. I will send an email to you if you fall in this category. This year you will be mailed a Clann Wolf membership card which will serve as a receipt of payment and proof of current status.

March 7th thru the 18th I will be at the South Western Regional Rendezvous in north Texas. I will be doing a couple of seminars on Highland dress and hosting the Highland games. Anyone looking for an event to fill in the calendar should give this one a look. Hope to see ya there.

I just received the latest info for the May event at Ft. Erie, Ontario, Canada. This will be a very interesting scenario this year as we will be portraying the “Jacobites in Edinburgh.” Please go to the website ( were the lengthy info will be posted.
