FCI Emergency Maneuver Training Aerobatic Checkout Training Program

Training Philosophy: Our program is built on the belief that the following principles are paramount in aviation: · Understand Aerodynamic Theory · Know your airplane · Practice only what you know · Always have an out · Respect and follow FAR’s FCI’s aerobatic training is designed for a pilot who has time in high performance, tail-wheel . This is not an aircraft checkout program, so customers will occupy the front seat during training.

Training Program Objectives: At the completion of training, pilots will have the following: 1. Proficiency to a SAFE level in basic and advanced aerobatic maneuvers, recovering from unusual attitudes, botched maneuvers and spins (upright and inverted including accelerated and flat) 2. An introduction to competition

Note: Pilots who have logged time as PIC in a high performance aircraft prior to August 4, 1997 (see 14 CFR Part 61.31 (f)) do not require a High Performance endorsement in their logbook. However, it is the responsibility of the instructor to ensure that anyone who is checked out in our aircraft have the required experience and/or endorsements.

Documentation of Training: All training missions will be videotaped and that tape utilized for debriefing purposes. A DVD of all missions will be provided to the customer at the end of the program.
