Cliccando su svariati link che ti dirottavano su siti di scommesse online, siti di strani allungamenti di parti intime e ovviamente siti a luci rosse, alla fine si riusciva a guardare una partita per cinque minuti senza aggiornare la pagina e, nel migliore dei casi, senza dover mandare il proprio computer in assistenza per ripulirlo da un centinaio di virus appena pigliati. Per chi invece preferiva guardarsi un film, piuttosto che una partita di un bieco match nazional popolare dopo una infruttuosa esperienza nel download di file su siti PvP quali Torrent e Emule, vedeva nascere i primi siti di streaming video senza dover intasare il proprio hard disk di filmati hard o peggio. Anche se l'attimo della prima apertura del tanto agognato file dopo una settimana di lento download era un momento di brivido e tensione che a ripensarci ci porta ad una assurda nostalgia.
