Mr Ruscoe and Mr Moore were then appointed Liquidators of the Trust on 5th February 2019 at 10.50am by Order of the High Court. The Liquidators and Grant Thornton are independent of the Trust. The Liquidators’ Declaration of Independence, Relevant Relationships and Indemnities (“DIRRI”) is attached to this report as Appendix D. The Liquidators set out below our first report on the state of the affairs of the Companies as required by section 255(2)(c)(ii)(A) of the Companies Act 1993 (the “Act”).     New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics Association National Secondary School Cross Country Championships A 40 Year History Introduction The New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics Association is proud to publish a forty- year history of the New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships. Participation in the event between 1974 and 2013 totals well over 10,000 athletes from all but a handful of schools from around the country. With an annual involvement of over 1000 students it has become one of the largest secondary school sporting events in New Zealand. The idea for this document was born during the 1995 NZSSCC Championships in Masterton. At this time (before the internet), results were published in a hard copy booklet. In this particular year the first three place getters in the individual, and three and six person team categories were published for the first twenty-one years of the events history. This accompanied the full set of 1995 results. After this event, the majority of results were published electronically. Unfortunately, many of these results were lost in the mid to late nineties because there was no dedicated NZSSAA website. Sincere thanks need to be given to Don Chadderton for providing the first twenty years’ of results. Without these early results a significant part of athletics New Zealand’s history would have eventually been forgotten. These include the 1974 performance of Alison Rowe, who would later go on to win both the 1981 Boston and New York marathons. As well as Burnside High School’s 1978 performance in the junior boys event where they completed the perfect three-man score of six points.

    Wairarapa College Newsletter Volume 3, June 2017 Dear Parent/caregivers Upcoming Events We won! That was the news that we had won Stage Challenge this year. We are absolutely thrilled. A large team of students from Year 9 to 13 and their teachers Ms Houliston, Ms Senior and Ms Fawcett had travelled down to Wellington to participate in Stage Challenge, June after many months of hard work. From the dress rehearsal we could see that we had something special but our students really pulled it together after a very long day. They drew Fri 9th - Y11 PITA the short straw and ended up being the last act performing and so our students had to wait Fencing course until after 11pm to perform, however, instead of this being a draw back they used it to build 12th - 16th - their energy, with an amazing outcome.     WAIRARAPA Youth Education, Training He Ara Angitu & Employment Partnership “A Pathway for All – All in a Pathway” www.yete.nz Term 2 2017 Newsletter # 3 YETE Means: All Wairarapa youth engaged in meaningful education, training, and/or employment A pathway for every student from education to employment Our businesses better connected with young people Wairarapa young people have the skills employers need Students prepare to work Wairarapa’s newest youth employment scheme, one of its largest employers and its secondary schools have teamed up to help young people become work-ready. The community partnership (YETE) has launched Licence to Work (L2W), which is a Youth Employability Programme or YEP. It is designed to prepare young people for the workforce with mentorship from local businesses. L2W, piloted in three other regions, was created following industry concern that young workers lack the transferable qualities, such as communication, problem solving and time management, that are needed to succeed in the workforce.Young L2W participants receive coaching at school to develop employability skills, and complete 20 hours of volunteer work and an 80- hour work experience placement. To begin the 12- month pilot in Wairarapa, YETE has partnered with Trust House and Makoura College, enrolling six of its senior students in the programme. The students are each on placement for one day a week at Trust House venues throughout the region. Laurel Booth, Makoura College carers advisor, said the students’ teachers and classmates have already noticed a difference in their demeanour and confidence since the programme began. “They’re training in areas they are interested in, and can now be trusted to carry out tasks independently,” Ms Booth said.
