The same thing applies to the following 3 positions of the final general standings, with Hadrien David (R- ace GP - 1:57.763), Zane Maloney (R-ace GP - 1:57.893) and William Alatalo (Arden Motorsport - 1:57.910) obtaining their best lap time in the morning of day 2. Another Arden Motorsport driver, the British Alex Quinn, has instead obtained his best lap time yesterday afternoon, another fast session with drivers mounting new sets of tires, when he stopped the clock at 1:57.972. WHAT A START WITH 276 DRIVERS IN LONATO! The 22nd edition of the Winter Cup is scheduled for this coming weekend as a lot of international karting stars are present at the South Garda Karting in the four categories of the event. The first indications came from qualifying and initial heats. Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy). The 22nd edition of the Winter Cup, race scheduled at the South Garda Karting circuit in the weekend of February 19th, confirmed the important entry figures with 276 drivers verified out of the 293 entered, and an excellent spectacle on track during qualifying held on Friday. The entry list is exceptional in all the categories, with a lot of champions on track: 89 drivers made it to the track in KZ2, 57 in OK-Junior and a solid 75 in Mini Rok. The event has been blessed by an excellent spring temperature, which is quite strange for this classic early season race. KZ2 The French driver Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K-Tm-Bridgestone) has been very quick in the first qualifying of KZ2 and posted the pole position time in 46.745s which placed him on top of the absolute classification. He is followed by the reigning European Champion Fabian Federer (CRG- Tm) who was only 38 thousands of a second shy of him, and by the Belgian Rick Dreezen (BirelArt-Vortex) and Riccardo Longhi (BirelArt-Tm).

Ver este email en tu navegador Lorenzo Fluxá vuelve a puntuar en el campeonato FIA F3 Asia La séptima posición conseguida en la segunda de las mangas de la FIA F3 Asia celebradas en el Autódromo de Dubái fue el mejor resultado logrado este fin de semana por Lorenzo Fluxá. El piloto patrocinado por LJs Ratxó Eco Luxury Retreat continúa su positiva trayectoria dentro de este certamen. A los mandos del monoplaza del equipo BlackArts Racing, el mallorquín fue decimotercero en la primera manga y décimo cuarto en la tercera. A falta de la cita final de Yas Marina (Abu Dhabi), el joven de 16 años es decimotercero del campeonato, sexto en el apartado de debutantes. El regreso de la FIA F3 Asia al Autódromo de Dubái, quince días después del debut allí mismo del campeonato, se produjo, sin embargo, en un escenario distinto. La categoría utilizaba en esta oportunidad la configuración más larga del trazado, la denominada GP. Un cambio motivado por ser la F3 Asia una de las categorías teloneras de la Asia Le Mans Series, que comenzaban este fin de semana en Dubái. La penúltima cita de la temporada de la F3 Asia fue complicada para Lorenzo Fluxá. De las tres carreras disputadas, la séptima posición de la segunda de las mangas fue la que mejor sabor de boca le dejó. Arrancar desde la segunda mitad de la parrilla lastró sus posibilidades y la remontada de esa segunda manga fue lo más positivo. La aparición de varios Safety Car en cada una de las mangas, viéndose incluso detenida la última de ellas por una bandera roja, rompió el ritmo del mallorquín en un trazado en el que fue más difícil de adelantar de lo esperado A la primera manga Lorenzo salía desde la décimo cuarta posición de la parrilla.

CHAMPIONNAT D’EUROPE OK / OK- J – TROPHÉE INTERNATIONAL HANDIKART – ESSAY 3-5 AOUT 2018 – Finale européenne en Normandie C’est sur le circuit international d’Aunay les Bois / Essay que les titres de Champions d’Europe FIA Karting OK / OKJunior 2018 vont être scellés. La Normandie accueillera donc une nouvelle épreuve internationale de grande envergure, quatre ans après le Championnat du Monde. Ce Kart Grand Prix de France sera la seconde des trois épreuves FIA Karting programmées sur notre territoire cette année. La FFSA a également soutenu l’organisation en parallèle du Trophée International Handikart lancé à Essay en 2014. Après l’Italie, la Grande-Bretagne et l’Allemagne, c’est en France que vont se conclure la saison continentale : le Championnat d’Europe FIA Karting – OK et le Championnat d’Europe FIA Karting – Junior. Emblématiques du karting, les deux catégories à prise directe rassemblent l’élite des jeunes pilotes du monde entier, en provenance de 36 nations et 4 continents. Avec trois épreuves majeures du calendrier FIA Karting 2018, la France confirme sa place importante dans le karting international, un rôle majeur qu’elle a joué depuis les origines de la discipline. La FFSA est fière d’accompagner l’association sportive K61 dans l’organisation du meeting de clôture de la saison européenne 2018. Forte de son expérience sur le terrain des compétitions Handikart, la FFSA a souhaité renouveler l’organisation du Trophée International Handikart reconnu par la CIK-FIA qui avait vu le jour sur cette même piste d’Essay en 2014. C’est une occasion unique pour rassembler des pilotes handicapés de plusieurs pays pour une superbe compétition devant un large public.
