Dr. Nakamoto will accept his award at the Annual Awards & President’s Dinner during the 41st Annaul Session held on Nov. 2-5 in Scottsdale, AZ. Nearly 1,000 ACP members are expected to be in attendance, which include prosthodontists, dental technicians and other dental industry professionals and guests. Annual Session topics include: the use of digital imaging, management of sleep apnea, the role of clinical psychology in prosthodontic practice, esthetic with state-of-the-art ceramics, advances in implant procedures and the future of implant dentistry, facial reconstruction, tooth loss and the continuing use of dentures, bone grafting in a hands-on cadaver workshop and the new age digital dental office.

Prosthodontists are among the most highly trained in the world. Their training requires three additional years beyond a dental degree. These specialists provide implants, dentures, crowns and caps, partial dentures, bridges, and veneers. Prosthodontists also are known for full mouth reconstruction, some of the most complex and challenging cases.

The ACP is the only prosthodontic organization whose membership is based solely on education credentials. ACP members must be in or have completed an ADA-accredited advanced education program in prosthodontics.
