The German advance on Pari~ was stopped and the enemy rhrown back dUiing this oreratiun, which lasted until June 6th, 1!118. Chateau Thierry Sector June 6th -July 9th, 1918. Almost e.. ''ti'nuous fighting marked the 2nd Division's stay in this sector. During this time the Belleau '\Voods, and th& vil1ng1s of Dourcs.. 1les and Vaux were captured.
