Relief and a rest of one week at Longeville, near Bar-le-Due, was followed by a move by rail to Bouconvillers near Chars in new Djvision area above Paris. OrdeTed to entrain at Chars on May 21st and was rus::ted around the e!J.Bt of Paris to N anteuil where it detrainP.d. A forced mareh through and past Meaux brought the battalion into Jine with the infantry which had com~ by carnian on the front northwest of Chateau 'Thierry.
