In 1994, The V Foundation established the V Scholar Grant program with the hopes of helping up-and-coming physician/scientists receive the support and recognition $14.6 MILLION 2012 they need to begin their research careers. Inspired by her friend’s courage and devastating loss, Braun has spent her career doing what she can to eradicate cancer – to assure the best of treatment for those diagnosed today and to create a world without cancer for future generations.
