1. £3,298,146 was spent on the initial build of the site. Whilst these costs were incurred by the Council they were refunded in full from the profits generated from Phase 1 of the Sands re-development and contributions from Yorkshire Forward.

In addition to the above, the Council spent £266,004 during 2012/13 on the purchase of big screens and sound equipment. This equipment was previously hired when required and these costs are no longer incurred by the venue. , 2. Details provided below:
