Detention Bulletin October 2014 Detention Figures At the end of October, a total of 163 Palestinian children were imprisoned and prosecuted in the Israeli military court system, a 163 children detained decrease of 10.4 percent from September. 18 children aged 1415 46% held inside Israel The number of young children detained between the ages of 14 1 girl detained and 15 was 18. Around 5 pm on October 20, Ameer Awad, 16, was alone on his family’s land located in Beit Ommar near the Israeli settlement of Karmi Tsur and the West Bank city of Hebron when Israeli soldiers standing 50 meters (164 feet) away released a military dog in his direction.
