Respondent : The Public Information Officer (U/RTI Act, 2005) / O/o The Tahsildar, Ananthagiri Mandal, Suryapet District. O R D E R Sri Borra Naveen, Suryapet District has filed a Complaint dated 25-03-2019 which was received by this Commission on 28-03-2019 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o The Tahsildar, Ananthagiri Mandal, Suryapet District. The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the Complainant herein filed an application dated 18-07-2018 before the PIO under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, requesting to furnish the information on the following points mentioned in his application annexed. The Public Information Officer / O/o. the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodad Division, Suryapet Dist vide Lr.No.F/1120/2018, dated 23-07-2018 has transferred the application u/s 6(3) of the RTI Act to the Public Information Officer / The Tahsildar, Ananthagiri Mandal, Suryapet Dist to furnish the information directly to the Complainant under intimation to their office. As the Complainant did not receive the required information from the PIO even after 30 days of filing his application, he preferred this Complaint before the Commission u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. The Complaint was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 17-03-2020. The caseTSIC is called on 17-03-2020. The Complainant is present. The Public Information Officer is absent. The Complainant submitted that he has not received the sought information. A perusal of case record goes to show that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodad transferred the RTI application of the complainant to the Public Information Officer / O/o The Tahsildar, Ananthagiri Mandal, Suryapet District. The Commission directs the Public Information Officer O/o The Tahsildar, Ananthagiri Mandal, Suryapet District to furnish copy of 22-A register to the complainant, within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. With the above direction, the complaint is closed.
