PRESS NOTE As per the guide lines of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad the Mega Medical Health Camp has been conducted on 07.12.2019 Organized by SAR-CPL, Amberpet, T.S. Unit., In co-ordination with Yashoda, Prathima and Medvision Hospitals, in the premises of District Police Hospital Amberpet, Hyderabad. Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City inaugurated the Camp for the police personnel who have crossed (40) years of age of SAR-CPL and all the wings of Hyderabad City Police like CAR Hqrs., Hyd, Home Guard Orgn., Hyd and PTC Amberpet. Personnel along with their family members have participated in the camp and around (700) personnel undergone the Screening Tests on the following investigation / Diagnostics i.e. RBS, ECG, 2 DECHO, Chest X- Ray, Ultra Sound Scan, CBP, Liquid Profile, LFT, PSA, PAPSMEAR. Further, the camp has also undertaken the special consultation on Cardiology, Orthopedic, Gynecology, Dermatology, Endocrinology and Ophthalmology. Dr. Raja Mouli (Dermatologist) & Dr Satish Kumar (Orthopedician) of Yashoda Hospital, Dr. Ram Mohan (Cardiologist) of Prathima Hospital and Dr Ravi Kumar (Ophthalmologist) of Med Vision Hospital along with their technical staff examined the Police personnel. Sanjeev Rao and Mrs. Fatima Tahir Informants Through: Shri Rakesh Sanghi and Tushar Ahmed, Advocates Andhra Pradesh Hire Purchase Association & 162 others Opposite Parties Order under Section 26(2) of the Competition Act, 2002 The present information was filed under Section 19(1) (a) of the Competition Act, 2002 (the Act) by the Informants against Andhra Pradesh Hire Purchase Association and 162 others (OP1 and OPs 2 to 163 or collectively the „Opposite Parties‟) alleging cartelization and abuse of dominant position by the Opposite Parties in contravention of the provisions of sections 3and 4 of the Act. 2. The informants, two individuals, had taken auto finance services from the opposite parties 3, 4 and 5.OP-2 to the OP-163were Individuals carrying on auto finance business in the name and style of their respective Sole Proprietorship concerns or corporate names etc. OP-1, a registered Associationunder Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, wasformed by OP-2 to OP- 163 in the name and style of Andhra Pradesh Hire Purchase Association. The customers of the Opposite Parties were usually the persons whocould not obtain a loan from a Banking Company in India. 3. The informants alleged that the OP-2to the OP-163were controlling at least 60% of the entire auto finance market in the cities of Hyderabad & Secunderabad. The opposite parties were acting in violation of the provisions of the A.P (Telengana Area) Money Lender‟s Act, 1349 Fasli which mandated that an individual or partnership firm conducting money lending business had to mandatorily obtain Money Lender‟s License under the said Act.Further, the opposite parties were also acting in violation of the provisions contained in the Usurious Loans Act, 1918 which regulated the charging of interest by the opposite parties. -

August, 3rd, 1985 is a land mark in the annals of the Legislature of Anohra Pradesh on which day the Prime Minister, Sri Rajiv Gandhi inaugu rated the Andhra Pradesh Legislacure Build ings. The newly constructed Assembly Build ing of Andhra Pradesh is located in a place adorned by thick vegitation pervading with peaceful atmosphere with all its scenic beauty. It acquires new dimensions of beauty, elegance and modernity with its gorgeous and splen did constructions, arches, designs, pillars of various dImensions, domes etc. Foundation stone for this new Legislature Building was laid by the then Chief Minister, Dr. M. Chenna Reddy on 19th March, 1980. The archilecture adopted for the exterior devation to the new building is the same as that of the old building, leaving no scope for differentiation between the two building~. The provision of detached round long columns under the arches add more beauty to the building. The building contains modern amenities such as air-connitioning, interior decoration and reinforced sound system. There is a provision for the use of modc:rn sophisticated electronic equipment for providing audio-system.
