Ramaiah, Hyderabad-500060 has filed 2nd appeal dated 19-01-2017 which was received by this Commission on 21-01-2017 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO-1 / O/o The Revenue Divisional Officer, Miryalaguda Revenue Division, Nalgonda District-508207, PIO-2 / O/o The Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodad Mandal, Suryapet District-508206, PIO-3 / O/o The Tahsildar, Kodad Mandal, Suryapet District-508206, PIO-4 / O/o The District Collector, Suryapet, Suryapet District-508213 and 1st Appellate Authority / O/o The District Revenue Officer, Nalgonda District-508001. 2. The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated 12-07-2016 before the PIO requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, on the following points mentioned in his application: TSIC 3. The Public Information Officer / O/o The Tahsildar, Kodad Mandal, Suryapet District has given reply to the appellant vide letter no. B/6535/2016, dated 17-12-2016. 4. Since the appellant did not receive the information from the Public Information Officer, he filed 1st appeal dated 15-11-2016 before the 1st Appellate Authority requesting him to furnish the information sought by him u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005. 5. The 1st Appellate Authority has transferred the application u/s 6(3) of the RTI Act to the Public Information Officer-1 / O/o The Revenue Divisional Officer, Kodad Mandal, Suryapet District, Public Information Officer-2 / O/o The Tahsildar, Kodad Mandal, Suryapet District, Public Information Officer-3 / O/o The District Collector, Suryapet, Suryapet District vide letter no. A5/11346/2016, dated 30-11-2016 to furnish the information directly to the Appellant. P.T.O Note: This is system generated copy and no signature is required. ::2:: 6. As the appellant did not get the information from the Public Information Officer / 1st Appellate Authority even after 30 days of filing his 1st appeal, he preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission requesting to take action against the PIO and 1st Appellate Authority for not furnishing information sought by him and also to arrange to furnish the information sought by him u/s 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005. The Appeal was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 01-05-2018. The case is called on 01-05-2018. The Appellant is present.     Journal of Rural Development, Vol. 34 No. (1) pp. 101-113 NIRD & PR, Hyderabad. 101 A STUDY OF MID-DAY MEAL SCHEME IMPLEMENTATION IN NALGONDA DISTRICT FOR IMPROVING SCHOOL ATTENDANCE Sambi Reddy Vippala* ABSTRACT The erstwhile State Government of Andhra Pradesh launched the cooked Mid- Day Meal (MDM) Programme in 2003 to all primary school children in Government, local body and Government Aided Schools. The State is also implementing the MDM scheme in the high schools covering students of 9th and 10th classes from 2008 with the State budget. Mid-Day Meal Scheme (MDMS) is being implemented by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in the State. The researcher studied schools of three mandals (Nadigudem, Munagala and Kodad) in Nalgonda district of A.P by using normative survey method. Students, teachers and head teachers responded to this research study. The researcher selected ‘stratified random method’ for sampling. The present study consists of a total of 12 schools from three mandals. The study found that majority of the schools are receiving poor quality of rice from the government; there is no safe drinking water for MDM, no proper distribution of bills, lack of training for administrators. The enrolment and attendance improved and classroom hunger avoided due to MDM programme. Introduction commodities under PL480 TITLE II programme. Education is that which makes one’s life During the first year of operation it benefited in harmony with all existence and thus enables 2.4 million children. In 1990-91, 17 State the mind to find the ultimate truth which gives governments were running the MDMP for primary school children of 6-11 age group.

May it please your Lordships, 1) With reference to the above subject and in this exceptional circumstance of outbreak of COVID-19, I am writing this letter for the kind consideration of the Hon’ble High Court. 2) It was reported in the columns of ‘The Hindu’ daily English Newspaper (Hyderabad Edition, Page 2) dated 10.05.2020 with title, “Police, not judges, award punishment”, that “five-accused persons in their early 20s who are charged for offence punishable under Section – 319 (Hurt) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) are told by police officials of Miryalaguda rural police limits (Nalgonda District) to reach the Andhra Pradesh-Telangana border at Vadapalli and ‘move the barricades’ left and right for a continuous period of 12 hours under the scorching summer heat”. 3) It was further reported by quoting Inspector A. Ramesh Babu who said that, “every day five petty case accused are brought from various stations under the rural police limits. It is the fourth day. These men are involved in simple hurt case. Moving the barricades in the sun is their punishment, they should not rest when the police are working hard.
