Investment Management Solutions (IM Solutions) leverages its specialized investment expertise together with the vast resources of J.P. Morgan Asset Management and its partners and affiliates, to provide customized, cross-asset class solutions to the investment management needs of Retail and Institutional Clients. The group blends its capital markets, strategic and tactical asset allocation, portfolio construction and active risk budgeting capabilities with one of the broadest product offerings in the industry to develop and implement optimal portfolio solutions to a wide range of client needs.

The team's investment process is designed to add value to client portfolios in multiple ways through top-down asset allocation and bottom-up manager and selection decisions, reflecting the investment insights generated from quantitative and qualitative analysis over a variety of time horizons from strategic, to intermediate and tactical. The group considers this multi-dimensional approach to be the most resilient way to create and capture investment insight in portfolios.

The client portfolio manager (CPM) role is a critical position for the IM Solutions business. The CPM will be a key member of the team and will represent the group’s portfolios in the marketplace. Key areas of focus for this role will be client retention and new sales opportunities. Ideal candidates will have at least 15 years of experience, with a background in the industry as a portfolio manager, plan sponsor, investment consultant, or CPM.

Responsibilities will include:

• Internal product CPM and product manager - develop relationships with retail sales channels; serve as initial point of contact for questions from the field; manage details of Roadshows, sales meetings. • Conduct reviews of portfolios and funds, primarily over the phone but occasionally in person, with financial advisors and JPM funds sales staff. • Presentation materials - You would be the point person for maintenance and development of marketing materials to present our story in as meaningful a way as possible. Your input and initiative will be critical as you will be expected to craft creative solutions for client issues. You would be working with resources from marketing in conjunction with portfolio managers to develop and revise materials as appropriate. • RFP writing - you will be the main point of contact for RFP's and work with salespeople, marketing associates and RFP writers to craft answers that highlight IM Solutions' main competitive advantages. • Backup - when portfolio manager are not in the office, backup is required to ensure full coverage at all times. This would require fielding calls from relationship managers, sales people and clients. • Competitive Analysis - gather and maintain a warehouse of information about our competitors • The environment is fast-paced and demanding, and travel is required.

Qualifications:

• All candidates must have a minimum of 7 years experience in Asset and Wealth Management. • Investment and markets background • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong attention to detail • Strong cross-functional team building and management skills (for example, partnering with multiple distribution channels, marketing, product administration, legal and compliance) • MBA, CFA and/or CAIA desirable • Leadership-ability to manage and influence people • Organization, coordination and project management skills • Strong understanding of Target Risk Funds and their role in the DC industry, including competitive positioning • Some public speaking skills preferred • Working knowledge of multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income and real estate • Experience working with institutional separate accounts, commingled funds, and mutual funds
