Summary Description:

This is an entry level sales position for the Retail, Hospitality and Self-Service Division or Financial Solutions Division of NCR. The incumbent will focus on training and orientation for a period of 6 to 12 months before being promoted to a quota-carrying role selling integrated technology solutions into retail or financial accounts. Solutions include hardware, software, professional services, and customer services. The candidate will have the opportunity to specialize in selling to a particular industry such as hospitality, food and drug, general merchandise, financial, or self-service. During the training period, bonuses will be earned based on qualitative objectives set by the incumbent's manager. Once the sales person is assigned a quota, their incentive compensation will be based on achievement of quantitative sales objectives.

Location:

The initial training locations vary across the US. Every effort will be made to accommodate the geographic preferences of the candidate.

For some hires, the initial training location will be at the NCR facility in Columbia, SC. Once training is complete, the sales person will be relocated to an open sales territory within the U.S. Every effort will be made to accommodate the geographic preferences of the candidate. Territories include , GA, Minneapolis, MN, Columbus, OH, New York, NY, Germantown, MD (DC area), and LA, California.

Education Requirements:

BS/BA in a Business field or a technology-related degree such as Computer Science or Information Systems

Key Areas of Responsibility:

 Develops business opportunities and key relationships within assigned named accounts.  Sells NCR's product and service portfolios.  Works with internal and external partners to successfully increase sales within the assigned territory. Job Requirements:
