NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS:

2020: Member of the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament team that went 3-0 and secured Canada’s third consecutive Olympic appearance. In 3 games Ayim averaged 6 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists over 59:05 minutes played during the OQT in Belgium.

2019: Played in all 5 games of the Senior Team Phase 1. Ayim averaged 25.7 minutes, 9.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in the Belgium Tournament, and 8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1 assist per game in the Great Britain Exhibition. Ayim played in all 6 games in the FIBA AmeriCup where their team claimed second place. She averaged 20.6 minutes, 8.5 points, and 3.3 rebounds per game. Ayim competed in the FIBA Olympic Prequalifying Tournament where she averaged 11.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.

2018: Ayim played in all four games at the Asia Exhibition Series. In China, Ayim played two games and averaged 12.5 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game and 1.0 assist per game. In Japan, she played in two games and averaged 17.5 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game. At the France exhibition series, she played an average of 23 minutes in each game, and scoring an average of 11 points a game. Miranda contributed a total of 42 points and 15 rebounds throughout the 2018 Women’s World Cup in Tenerife, Spain where Team Canada finished in 7th place.

2017: After taking time off earlier in the summer, she rejoined Team Canada and traveled to for the 2017 AmeriCup, where she captained the gold medal winning team. She posted impressive numbers averaging 22.8 minutes per game, and scoring an average of 14.5 points per game. She was named to the tournament all-star team.

2016: Member of the Rio 2016 Olympic team who placed 7th in the tournament; averaged 17.3 minutes per game and 4.7 points. Played 2 exhibition games in Spain averaged 10 points per game. Played 3 exhibition games in France averaging 27.7 minutes per game, 13.3 points per game, 2.0 rebounds per game. Played 3 games in the Edmonton Grads exhibition tournament, averaging 22.8 minutes and 11 points per game. Played 3 games in the USA Showcase tournament, averaging 7.3 points per game.

2015: Played 3 exhibition games in Spain averaged 10 points in 24.5 minutes per game. Played 3 exhibition games in France averaged 8.3 points in 22.99 minutes. Member of the 2015 Pan American Games team that won Canada’s first ever gold medal finished top 10 in blocks for the tournament. Helped the SWNT achieve gold at the FIBA Americas, qualifying for Rio 2016 Olympics …averaged 16.8 mins with 10 points per game

2014: Played in all 9 of the Senior Women’s exhibition games; In the Turkey exhibition tournament was 2nd on the team with 9 points per game and 3rd in the tournament with 1.3 blocks per game while leading the team with 30.3 minutes per game. Led the team in RPG at FIBA Worlds with 5.43 as well as averaging 8.3 PPG and shot .888% from the free throw line throughout the tournament

2013: Helped the Senior Women’s National team take home silver from the FIBA America finals; playing 6 games and averaging 6 points and 18 mins per game… Also played her 90th international game in Xalapa .

2012: Played in all 5 games at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament where she helped the team to qualify for the Olympic Games… averaged 16 minutes and 4.4 points per game…Member of the 2012 Olympic team that qualified for the quarter-finals in London, averaging 1.2 points and 6.4 minutes per game.

2011: Played in 5 games at the FIBA Americas Olympic Qualifier… 1st overall in blocks during the Qualifiers in . Played in both Exhibition games against Puerto Rico. Played in all six games during the Senior Women’s Team Asian tour in phase two of training camp. She was named Player of the Week Among Canadians Playing Abroad on two occasions this season and was awarded Eurobasket.com LFB All-French Honorable Mention.

The senior center was named to the All-West Coast Conference (WCC) first team in 2010 for the third time, becoming only the fourth player in Pepperdine history to earn first team honors three times and the first since 2002 ... She was two-time WCC Player of the Week and made the All-Tournament teams at the WCC Championships and the Arizona State Classic ... Pepperdine University Athlete of the year ... She became Pepperdine's all-time leader in career blocked shots with 182, and tied the single-game record with nine ...
