These activities have been carried over to the new Strategic Planning period 2012- 2017. Graduation statistics predictably show Petroleum Geosciences leading the way with First Class awardees accounting for 42.9% of its graduates. Chemical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering followed with approximately 16%. Industrial Engineering has been omitted from these statistics due to its low enrolment. More than 83% of graduates obtained Upper Second degrees or better.
