EUCLID (Euclid University) is a specialized intergovernmental organization having international legal personality and non‐profit status. It was formally established with bilateral entry into force of the defining instrument in March 2008 with multilateral process completion in May 2010. The legal documents (intergovernmental conventions) are posted at http://www.euclid.int/legaldocuments.asp and the legal effect of EUCLID’s legal personality under international and US law is set forth by Article 6ter of the Paris Convention as administer by the World Intellectual Property Organization, a United Nations agency, and which can be accessed at: http://www.wipo.int/article6ter/en/general_info.htm On this basis, and because our organization will need to issue 1099‐MISC and W‐ 2s in the very near future, we are hereby apply for an EIN and are attaching the SS‐4 form. The attached SS‐4 form may be amended as needed by the IRS based on the information presented in this letter.
