Portfolio Management § Responsible for investment and oversight of a substantial portfolio of alternative investments for the Kovner family and related entities. Collaborate closely with Mr. Kovner on portfolio ideas and strategy. § Manage Caxton Select LLC, a $1.1 billion of funds for senior management and external investors. Intranet site contains all portfolio statistics, manager letters, legal documents, special analyses, due diligence reports, meeting notes, and historical information for existing, past and potential investments. Special Projects § Assist Mr. Kovner and senior management with projects related to their board activities, extended family financial issues, trusts and estates planning, investment structuring and long-term strategy. § Engage in a wide variety of projects involving performance evaluation, cash flow analyses, break-even analyses, deferral calculations, compensation structures and other investment and business development activities. § Assisted in creation of Caxton sub-strategy funds by providing advice on industry standard terms, assisting with marketing materials and making introductions to potential investors. § Conducted and participated in investor meetings alongside Caxton’s President and Investor Relations team. § Sourced traders and teams for Caxton Global, the firm’s flagship hedge fund. Source and evaluate seeding opportunities in JV with Caxton-Symmetry LLC.
