Mike Tramp Convention – Projektbeskrivelse MIKE TRAMP CONVENTION – PROJEKTBESKRIVELSE Amager Bio, 13/8-2021 Mike Tramp er en af de danske musikere, der har haft mest succes i udlandet gennem tiden. Lige fra starten med Mabel, Melodi Grand Prix og idoler i både Danmark og Spanien – over hans millionsælgende karriere som frontmand og sangskriver i White Lion i 1980’erne, kæmpe tours i hele verden og en placering som #3 på Billboard listen. Sidenhen i bandet Freak Of Nature efterfulgt af en solo-karriere – hvor Mike Tramp stadig har et stort publikum og ”following” i hele verden. Alene i USA, spiller han gerne årligt 60 koncerter. Men også i lande som Norge, Sverige, UK, Tyskland, Frankrig, Spanien, Holland, og selvfølgelig Danmark turnerer han meget – og udgiver anmelderroste albums årligt, der udkommer internationalt. Vi ønsker at afholde et helt særligt Mike Tramp event i Amager Bio d. 13. august 2021 som markering af at Mike Tramp fylder 60 år her i 2021 – og den netop udgivne ”Best of” udgivelse ”Trampthology”, der har samlet de bedste numre fra solokarrieren. Planen er et event der med et eksklusivt liveshow som fokus, danner rammen for en begivenhed der både vil trække Mike Tramp fans til fra ind- og udland. Mike Tramp har mange dedikerede fans, og der er et stort netværk, venskab og fællesskab på tværs af landegrænserne blandt hans tilhængere. Det er vores mål at dyrke dette endnu mere, og lave et event der samler både nye og gamle fans til en helt særlig aften. Dørene vil åbne allerede kl. 17:00, så folk har tid til at se den særlige Mike Tramp udstilling i et afgrænset område, hvor diverse genstande og fotos fra hans lange karriere vil blive udstillet. Derefter vil der være en særlig ”talk”, hvor Finn P. Madsen fra musikmagasinet Gaffa har en dialog med Mike Tramp om hans karriere, fortælling af gode anekdoter og spørgsmål fra salen. Dette på en måde så både nye og gamle fans vil være underholdt. Koncerten med Mike Tramp og band vil blive et ekstra langt show i to sæt, hvor der vil blive spillet sange fra hele karrieren, heriblandt en række sjældent spillede numre. For netop at gøre det hele anderledes end normalt, vil der være en række optrædende gæster i løbet af showet – musikere/sangere fra ind- og udland der har haft betydning og forbindelse til Mike Tramp gennem årene. Dette vil koste en del ekstra, og er bl.a. også derfor vi søger økonomisk tilskud fra Københavns Kommune. Disse gæster er planlagt til at optræde: Joey Tempest (Europe) Beth Hart Marco Mendoza Søren Andersen Christian Have, Otto Kulmback (Mabel) PR mæssigt vil vi benytte Deluxe Music til at lave promotion ift skreven presse, radio og TV, mens Moondrop PR vil stå for SoMe kampagne. Derudover vil der blive trykt plakater og flyers – der vil blive distribueret til alle relevante barer, cafeer og pladebutikker i Københavns-området. Der forventes interviews hos bl.a. Go Morgen Danmark, P4, lokal presse – og omtale i dagspresse og musikmagasiner. Amager Bio vil også være behjælpelige med PR via deres kanaler, bl.a. på sociale medier og deres omfattende mailingliste. Target Group har stået for mange koncerter og festivaler gennem årene, bl.a. Nordic Noise Festival, Udgårdsfest, Classic Rock Festival og et hav af showcases og enkeltstående koncerter. .

Brown, Advisor Between 1984 and 1991, heavy metal became one of the most publicly popular and commercially successful rock music subgenres. The focus of this dissertation is to explore the following research questions: How did the subculture of heavy metal music between 1984 and 1991 evolve and what meanings can be derived from this ongoing process? How did the contextual circumstances surrounding heavy metal music during this period impact the performative choices exhibited by artists, and from a position of retrospection, what lasting significance does this particular era of heavy metal merit today? A textual analysis of metal- related materials fostered the development of themes relating to the selective choices made and performances enacted by metal artists. These themes were then considered in terms of gender, sexuality, race, and age constructions as well as the ongoing negotiations of the metal artist within multiple performative realms. Occurring at the juncture of art and commerce, heavy metal music is a purposeful construction. Metal musicians made performative choices for serving particular aims, be it fame, wealth, or art. These same individuals worked within a greater system of influence. Metal bands were the contracted employees of record labels whose own corporate aims needed to be recognized.

When a beautiful white lion, Charlie, is born, Mia finds happiness once again and develops a special bond with the growing cub. When Charlie reaches three, Mia’s life is rocked once again as she uncovers an upsetting secret kept hidden by her father. Distraught by the thought that Charlie could be in harm, Mia decides to run away with him. The two friends set out on an incredible journey across the South African savanna in search of another land where Charlie can live out his life in freedom. GILLES DE MAISTRE INTERVIEW Director Where did the idea for the story come from? It goes back years. I shot a series about children around the world who have deep bonds with wild animals for a French television documentary. My research took me to South Africa, where I filmed a child whose parents had a lion-breeding farm. They bred lions for conservation purposes - or so they claimed. The end goal was to sell them on to zoos and wildlife parks, to celebrate the king of animals in all its glory, and sometimes even to rewild them. There was a 10-year-old boy there who was in love with the lions.
