UTeach Expansion in SPRING 2020 UTeach answers the challenge for universities to train more science, mathematics, computer science, and engineering teachers by enabling students studying these disciplines to earn teaching credentials without additional time or cost beyond their degrees.

A unique collaboration among colleges of science, education, and liberal arts, UTeach prepares teachers with deep content knowledge and proficiency with pedagogical strategies that promote student mastery of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) principles and concepts.

Including the original UTeach program started in 1997 at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), 10 UTeach programs are located in Texas.

TEXAS UTEACH PROGRAMS UTeach graduates in Texas SPRING 2020 are projected to teach more than 360,00 STEM students annually by 2025.
