INTRODUCING THE YF NEW DIRECTOR OF MUSIC

We are delighted to announce the appointment of as Director of Music from 1 April 2020.

Described as an ‘endlessly fascinating artist’, Ashley Wass’s musical career is one of creativity and variety. Alongside his work as soloist and chamber musician, he was Artistic Director of the Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival and is currently Deputy Head of Keyboard Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music. Prior to that he was Professor of Piano at the from 2008–18. SUNDAY 15 MARCH – 3pm An active chamber musician, Ashley is a co-founder of Trio Apaches with violinist Matthew Trusler and YMS alumnus Thomas Carroll.
