11 Letter from Fr. Kevin 3 What is Adoration? Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honoring our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament − where Christ is truly present: Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

During Adoration we “watch and wait” and open our hearts and minds to His Grace. In our noise- filled world, time in quiet before our Lord and Savior is critical. Jesus calls us, “Come to Me, all who Participating in Adoration labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11: 28. Give Jesus your concerns, trials, worries, burdens, failures, and sorrows. Abandon yourself to Him and He will refresh you. Speak with Jesus about anything and everything. In this time with Christ your “Our communal worship at Mass must go together relationship with Him is strengthened and deepened. with our personal worship of Jesus in Eucharistic adoration Jesus desires to be with you, to have you gaze upon Him, as He so lovingly gazes upon you. In an apparition to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, in order that our love may be complete.” Jesus spoke these beautiful words: “I have a burning thirst to be honored by men in the Blessed Sacrament.” St. Pope John Paul II, Redeemer of Man Spending time with Jesus in Adoration refreshes the soul, clears the mind, provides peace, sets a clear path, allows gratitude to flow from the heart, provides comfort in times of trial or sorrow, and deepens one’s love for God. The faithful “should make visits to the Most Holy Sacrament, as proof of gratitude, a pledge of love, and a debt of the adoration due to Christ the Lord, who is present in it.” Pope Paul. VI, Encyclical Letter Mysterium fidei
