Sir, Pursuant to the meeting of State Transport Authority held on 07-09-2017, pending cases for grant of Contract Carriage Permits in respect of Motor/Maxi cabs (6+1 to 12+1 seating capacity) were considered and after detailed deliberations it was decided to accord grant of contract carriage permit to all the cases where vehicle(s) is to be attached with Government Departments/Undertaking/PSUs, Private companies/organisations/ firms etc., School/Colleges/Universities/Educational Institutions, Travel agencies or Hotels etc. where applicant is himself the owner of such Travel agency/hotel and Travel agencies or Hotels located in Tribal areas. Accordingly grant is hereby accorded to the below mentioned applicants to purchase a vehicle of particular seating capacity for its operation as Motor/Maxi cab(6+1 to 12+1) and to attain a contract carriage permit for it, on the condition that:- • 1. That the model(s) purchased by the operator must be approved by the Director Transport Himachal Pradesh. 2. While issuing grant letter to these operators an undertaking be obtained that they will not park their vehicles near the Bus stop /Taxi stand for passengers being used as Stage carriage. The vehicle will be parked at the complex of the Contract Agreement Agency. 3. Vehicle shall be painted with words in bold written on both sides of the doors : o On Contract with ............................................. 4. Permit should be issued/restricted as per the period of Contract Agreement. 5. The vehicle will be used only t o carry the passengers/Employees of the Contract agency. No oi.:her passengers will be allowed. 6. Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Notification No. G.S.R. 643(E) dated 19th August, 2015 shall be complied, before registration of the vehicles. 7. To discourage and stop illegal plying of contract carriage, all RTO's /ARTO's/MVl's will ensure that on front two doors of motor/maxi cab(6+1 to 12+1), permit holders should clearly mention in bold letters the name of the particular firm/organization/School etc. with which it is attached or is under contract agreement.     Plant Archives Vol. 18 No. 2, 2018 pp. 2759-2769 e-ISSN:2581-6063 (online), ISSN:0972-5210 TRADITIONAL WISDOM TO TREAT THE MOST COMMON AILMENTS IN CHOPAL REGION OF SHIMLA DISTRICT, HIMACHAL PRADESH, INDIA Jagdish Singh*, Joginder Singh and Drishti Sharma Himalayan Forest Research Institute, Panthaghati, Shimla - 171 013 (Himachal Pradesh), India. Abstract A total of hundred ethnomedicinal plants belonging to 56 plant families were recorded from the Chopal region of Shimla district which were used to treat the most common ailments viz. minor cuts, wounds, boils, fever, gastric, cough, piles and jaundice etc. The maximum numbers of sixteen plant species were used for treatment of minor cuts and wounds, followed by fifteen numbers of species for boils and pimples. While twelve species each was used for treatment of fever, gastric and constipation. The number of ethnomedicinal plants used for treatment of stomach-ache, bronchitis, piles, jaundice and sprain were 11, 10, 10, 8 and 8, respectively. Among growth forms, maximum were herbaceous plants (51 no.), followed by shrubs (21 no.), trees (20no.), climbers (6no.), fern and fungi (1 no.) each.
