DEPED COMPUTERIZATION PROGRAM (DCP) ORIENTATION 2019

TO: CID and SGOD Chiefs Public Elementary and Secondary School Heads All others concerned

1. The DepEd Computerization Program (DCP) aims to provide public elementary and secondary schools with appropriate technology that would enhance the teaching-learning process and meet the challenges of the 21st century. In order to effectively implement the DCP in schools, this Office, through the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Unit, announces the conduct of the 2019 DCP Orientation.

2. The activity aims to: a. orient the participants on the guidelines in the implementation of the DCP; b. revisit the guidelines on the proper use of ICT equipment in schools; c. implement the conduct of preventive maintenance of ICT equipment under the DCP; d. present new reporting schemes for service and warranty requests.

3. Participants to the said activity are the School Technical ICT Coordinators. Each school shall identify one (1) School Technical ICT Coordinator to attend the said activity.
