The 3.82 free passes per nine innings in 2009 was the highest for an Irish staff since 1999. NOTRE DAME u Notre Dame has already posted 13 games with two issued walks or less and nine outings with one free pass or less. Record: 7-10-1 (0-0 BIG EAST) u Rankings: Baseball America (nr) Dupra, Johnson, Miller, McIver and Norton, the five Irish pitchers to start in 2011, have walked only 22 in 123.2 innings of work Collegiate Baseball (nr) over 18 starts. Dupra, Johnson and Miller did not walk a single batter in 22.2 innings of work at the Coca-Cola Classic in Rock Hill, ESPN/Sports Weekly (nr) S.C.
