The AIBRA unserved area map and list were both thoroughly reviewed for obsolete information and other corrections. The following revisions have been noted:

Georgia: It was determined that, while the community of Dublin was rightly on the AIBRA unserved list, it was not on the unserved map. The unserved map has been corrected to include the community of Dublin.

Missouri: It was determined that the population of Barry and Lawrence Counties is concentrated around the bi-county community of Monett and not in the respective County Seats. The communities of Cassville and Mount Vernon have consequently both been removed from the AIBRA unserved area map and list and replaced with the community of Monett.

South Carolina: The communities of Chester, Laurens, and Union have been removed from the AIBRA unserved area map and list because it was determined that they are within 25 miles of existing transit accessing cities served by scheduled carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria.

The sample routes through isolated areas has been thoroughly revised and consolidated to reflect the impact of recent changes, updates, and new service. It has been renamed sample traditional bus routes through AIBRA defined isolated areas and can be accessed by Clicking on the “Bus” button in “Unserved Area” portion of website.

The existing route added stops, or extensions to provide service to AIBRA defined isolated areas received mostly minor modifications and revisions. Click on “Station” button in “Unserved Area” portion of website to access.

The resultant unserved area list has been scuttled and replaced with sample van routes to remaining AIBRA defined isolated areas. Click on “Van” button in “Unserved Area” portion of website to access.

NOTE: If the above three new routes/ route modification proposals were completely implemented, all remaining AIBRA defined isolation in the contiguous would be eliminated.

TRI STATE TRANSIT AUTHORITY Website: www.tta-wv.com Contact No. 1-304-529-7433 Schedule Link: Route 7 Huntington – Barboursville

The above transportation provider was not included in the AIBRA website because their service is entirely within an urbanized metropolitan area.
