Methods Prospective cohort study using injury data from the International Olympic Committee injury surveillance system and exposure data from official tournament records at three consecutive Olympic Games (i.e., Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio de Janeiro 2016). Competition injury incidence rates per 1,000 minutes of exposure (IIRME) were calculated with 95% confidence intervals using standard formulae for Poisson rates. Results The overall IIRME was 7.8 (95%CI 7.0, 8.7). The IIRME in judo (9.6 [95%CI 7.8, 11.7]), boxing (9.2 [95%CI 7.6, 10.9]), and taekwondo (7.7 [95%CI 5.6, 10.5]) were significantly higher than in wrestling (4.8 [95%CI 3.6, 6.2]).

    Complaint to FIDE Electoral Commission AFGHANISTAN Summary Following the Afghan National Chess Federation’s (“ANCF”) nomination of challenger Garry Kasparov’s Presidential ticket for the 2014 FIDE elections, FIDE removed longstanding ANCF President and Delegate, Mr. Mahmood Hanif, from the FIDE website on 16 June 2014 and replaced him with two other individuals who have never been elected to the positions in question. FIDE gave no notice to the ANCF of this action and refused to provide supporting documentation despite urgent requests to FIDE’s Executive Director, Nigel Freeman, immediately after the change was made. Despite protests on behalf of Mr. Hanif that the changes were wrongful, Mr. Freeman and the FIDE Secretariat also proceeded to list the wrong Delegate for Afghanistan on the list of Delegates for the 2014 elections published on the FIDE website later on 16 June 2014 pursuant to Article 5.A(1) of the Electoral Regulations (the “16 June FIDE Delegate List”).     ITU ATHLETE’S AGREEMENT 1. Governing Body: The “Athlete” acknowledges that ITU is the sole world governing body for the sports of Triathlon, Paratriathlon, Duathlon and its related other Multisports world-wide and that ITU is recognized by the IOC, WADA and the IPC, and is a member of ASOIF and SportAccord. 2. Definition of Terms: ASOIF The Association of Summer Olympic International Federations. Athlete The person signing this document. Intellectual Individual intellectual property rights (including the rights to the Property Rights Image or any name or mark of the Athlete). Sport Accord The union for both Olympic and non-Olympic sports federations as well as organisers of international sporting events. ImageITU The Athlete’s name, likeness, signature, biographical information, image, other identifying insignia or characteristics and any similar or associated trademarks. International Triathlon Union ITU Events The events listed in the “Events” section of www.triathlon.org, including Continental Confederations events. ITU Rules The ITU Anti-Doping Rules, the ITU Constitution and By-Laws, the ITU Competition Rules, and all appendices, including the ITU Uniform Rules, the ITU Event Organisers Manual and all other ITU rules, regulations and guidelines issued or in force from time to time.
