The future of a multi-divisional company: built on a history of quality Since 1970 Ballan SpA has always pursued its aims of maximum construction quality, state-of-the-art technology and industrial progress. The creators and founders, brothers Genesio and Giuseppe Ballan were able to skilfully create their story of success, developing Ballan to become a leading company in the manufacture of garage doors – up-and-over and sectional – in Italy, with over 1,000,000 doors installed, 30 patents to date and a range boasting over 45 models. The finishing line? No, but a starting point to confirm the technical and design leadership of Ballan in the expanded market of “doors and access points”. MYFusion HF Up-And-Over Garage Doors: strength, safety, design and functionality Fusion HF up-and-over doors are based on an innovative design that combines the salient features of all Ballan techno- logies. Resistant and safe: the frame is in heavy gauge steel sheet, the insulated panels are indeformable and the locks are equipped with the “Defender” system for protection against intrusion. Insulation of the garage thanks to constantly perfect closure (self-lubricated seals and self-centring system). Compact, flush and stylish, available in various models to meet the needs of all architectural styles. Ultra-silent.

Insulated panels: the jewel of Ballan technology The thickness of the insulated panel is 40 mm, produced in galvanised steel sheet, with a pre-painted and embossed finish. Made with two thermoplastic profiles; a lower one and an upper one, joined by two walls, internal and external, in steel sheet and closed laterally by two heavy gauge steel covers. 400 mm A flame-retardant polyurethane foam core is inserted between the two walls to thermally insulate and soundproof the panel.

Linealegno HF: outstanding quality Linealegno HF is the Ballan up-and-over door designed to meet the requirements of the highest standards in terms of thermal transmittance for energy requalification of buildings,certified by tests performed by a notified body. A significant achievement thanks to the reduction in thermal bridges, insulation of the door leaf, protection ensured by the perimeter seals and the thermoplastic lower floor skirting.

Unrivalled quality in heat efficiency Linealegno HF is not only the perfect barrier against variations in external temperatures, air and water. It is also the most durable, stylish and silent garage door available. The structure of the door leaf and the external frame, both in steel and entirely clad in wood, guarantees sturdiness, strength and “creak-free” operation. Cladding is in ply wood, more resistant to stress and deformation, with healthy wood ensured by micro-ventilation, by virtue of a small air jacket.

Safety of the “sensitive” motor On all operators, the 24 V gearmotor, complete with on-board control unit (with “open-close” button) and force limiter device, interrupts and inverts movement on detection of an obstacle (maximum permissible force of 400N). The action of the force limiter device is shown by the blue line in the graph, well below the legally required value (red line).

New technology and new design for the Ballan Smart remote control, featuring an original black and white cover and sturdy key ring Lightweight and compact with an innovative design, this remote control is constructed with resistant plastic materials and is used for the control of Ballan operators. The 3 well-spaced and recessed keys facilitate use, while the new hardware and extended pulse guarantee a superior range compared to the standard versions currently available on the market. A led integrated under the casing provides information on the battery status and simplifies the programming phases. Simple memorisation: this remote control is easily learned on an existing Ballan door or can be simply replaced and/or integrated with a previous Ballan remote control. 3 or 5 channel mode: as well as the default 3-channel mode, there is the option, after a simple operation, to switch to 5-channel mode, where button 3 can also be used for selection. Remote programming: a simple combination of keys on a previously learned transmitter enables the learning of a new remote control, avoiding the need for direct access to the receiver.

All mechanical parts can be integrated in the structure and contribute to improved door safety and reliability. The most salient feature is the panel, which - with the aluminium joint positioned every 400 mm - makes New Age sturdier and more resistant than ever.

Thanks to Ballan, this simple gesture is also a safer choice, as all operators on offer are equipped with electronic control systems. In fact they guarantee improved operating efficiency and instantly invert the direction of movement when an obstacle is detected.

Is the garage ceiling too low? Rexa an exclusive Ballan project and design ia a lateral sliding door which allows a proper and fitting closure even in difficult situations. The classic garage closure has been appreciated from the very beginning for its convenient usage. Rexa embodies extreme attention to details that comes along with its exceptional efficiency and features such as steadiness, thermal insulation and soundproofing.

The new Flexa guarantees safety and security offering a partially opening system that allows people or things to pass on both sides without putting themselves in danger or creating eventual material damages.

The Flexa door is made up of the perimetral structure, the lower, load-bearing track made of galvanized steel and the upper track made of galvanized steel painted similar to RAL 9016. The 40 mm thick and 500 mm wide insulated panels are composed of two facings of galvanized steel sheet with flame-retardant and HCFC-free polyurethane foam inside, which thermally insulate and soundproof the inside of the garage. They are available in different finishes, including wood- effect, matchable to existing shutters or sectional doors. Various windows can be fitted in the panels to increase the light and/or ventilation of the garage. Available manual or power- operated.

INDUSTRIAL SECTIONAL DOORS GEMINO The Gemino sectional doors open vertically, thus saving space in front of and behind the door. Also inside the building the door only takes up a little of the precious space, as it is positioned parallel to the ceiling, following the slope of the roof or vertically along the wall. Surface-mounted assembly also means full use of the clear passage width, avoiding the risk of damage. Available in various colours and with a wide range of optional accessories.

Heat insulating and environmentally friendly Thanks to a panel thickness of 40 mm with CFC-free polyurethane insulation. This feature of optimal heat insulation means that the door is subject to tax relief in applications where the architecture is classed according to the relevant current standards.

Safety thanks to anti-pinch panels, cable/spring break devices and protection against cable derailing The panels have been designed with a special profile to guarantee maximum accident prevention safety. A safety device prevents the door leaf from dropping in the event of lifting cable breakage or damage to the balancing springs. IVA 00327010286 - REA PD 0118254 22 INSULATED DOORS The folding doors Meteo and Anteo, are double-wall models in galvanised steel, with inner polyurethane foam insulation core, especially recommended for industrial sheds with low top beams, and ideal as closures for example on depots, garages and maintenance workshops, industrial and public buildings or car show rooms. In particular, the laterally folding door leafs significantly reduce the risk of door damage during vehicle transit, as they are under the complete visual control of the driver. Also if surface-mounted to the side, the entire transit width can be used. These are highly resistant products, designed and tested down to the last detail, ideal for all requirements and made to last. Available with 2 to 16 leafs of various heights and widths (on some models with lengths up to 20 m, and heights up to 6 m, on solid versions or with windows). Designed with double pre-painted galvanised steel sheet (thickness 7/10 di mm) using sandwich panels with inner polyurethane core, CFC-free with optimal insulating properties. Various types of window can be integrated in the door leafs, such as square or round windows. Many versions are available on request with pass doors, split pedestrian leafs or with a side door identical in appearance to the main model. The Meteo and Anteo folding models, sliding Roteo, and swing Aliseo all comply with the most stringent European safety standards.

RAPID DOORS

The rapid door Eolo is designed to be used indoors in high traffic and environmentally controlled areas. It is ideal for distribution and manufacturing facilities that require controlled environments or where there’s high traffic from forklift operation.

High speed opening doors for high transit frequency, designed in compliance with UNI EN 13241-1. Structure in pre-painted press bent steel sheet, in white Ral 9002; on request, versions in galvanised steel sheet, stainless steel or painted in a RAL colour.
