3 Welcome We hope you find this course booklet useful in helping you make the right decisions about your studies after Year 11. The Post 16 provision offers over 10 subjects across Levels 2 & 3 in vocational courses for September 2020. Learners who wish to study level 3 qualifications will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs graded 4 to 9. There are some subject specific entry requirements that are detailed in the booklet. Those learners who achieve these requirements but perhaps do not attain a grade 4 or above in English Language or Maths will still have access to some Level 3 subjects and will have to resit Maths and / or English until they attain a level 4 or above.

Learners who cannot access Level 3 courses directly have the opportunity to study an Access course. This programme allows learners to study more Level 2 subjects and resit English Language and Maths so that by the end of the year learners will have met the criteria to access our Level 3 provision or seek other opportunities such as college or apprenticeships.

We look forward to hearing from you.
