    MEN’S PLAYER SELECTION REGULATIONS 2021 1. Introduction 1.1. These Men’s Player Selection Regulations (the “Regulations”) set out the procedure for the Player Selection and Registration Process for the Men’s Hundred. The ECB may amend the Regulations at any time on notice to interested parties (including TeamCos and Players). 1.2. The ECB shall be responsible for the enforcement of these Regulations, including any disputes relating to the same, save that the ECB may at its discretion appoint a Technical Committee to address such disputes. The Technical Committee’s decision in respect of any disputes shall be final. 1.3. By becoming Draft Registered (as defined in Regulation 3.1 and/or participating in the Player Draft), each interested party agrees to be bound by and comply with the Regulations. 2 Player Retention Process 2.1 During the Retention Window and subject to the requirements of this Regulation 2, TeamCos may offer any Player who they selected from the draft, or selected as a Replacement Player, in respect of the previous edition of The Hundred, a new Playing Contract at any Player Fee in respect of the following year of The Hundred, and require that Player to sign a new Men’s PSA. Each such Player, whether a Test Player or otherwise, upon signing the new Playing Contract and Men’s PSA (or, at the sole discretion of the ECB, upon the Player having accepted the offer of a Playing Contract) during the Retention Window, will be a “Retained Player”. Each Retained Player may only be retained for one edition of The Hundred at a time and not for any longer period.

Five days later Birmingham Phoenix host the first women’s match against Manchester Originals at Blackfinch New Road. • The Vitality Blast features more matches on Thursday and Friday nights, and on weekends, with a London derby to begin the competition on 28 May. • Somerset start their Royal London Cup title defence against Warwickshire on 20 July. The first round of the County Championship kicks off on Easter Sunday with Division Two champions Lancashire hosting Kent at Emirates Old Trafford. Based in the UK’s second city, the Club is one of the largest and most successful County Cricket Clubs in England & Wales with an annual turnover of circa £25m. Two weeks later she made her debut for the Matildas, the Australian women's football team, in an Olympic qualifier against Hong Kong, scoring in the second minute. She is the first Australian to have appeared in both ICC and FIFA World Cups and one of a very small number of global sportspeople to have played in both. She focused solely on cricket in 2014 and has since been described as the most marketable sportsperson in Australia.
